About Me
Linda June
Wholefood Chef | Culinary Health Educator | Recipe Developer
A Life in Wholefoods
With over 30 years of experience, I’ve dedicated my life to the power of food as a tool for healing, connection, and joy. My journey began in Melbourne, where I trained in wholefood restaurants and completed a diploma in wholefood cooking. This early foundation taught me the importance of cooking from scratch using fresh, seasonal, and sustainable ingredients. That philosophy continues to guide everything I do.
Global Influence and Traditional Techniques
Over the years, I’ve expanded my knowledge through the study of Chinese medicinal cooking, Japanese wholefoods, and holistic nutrition. I’ve also explored traditional food techniques like fermentation and learned how to work with complex dietary needs in real, practical ways.
A Teacher at Heart
Since 1994, I’ve been sharing my love of food and teaching others how to make lasting changes through what they eat. I’ve worked as a head chef and culinary educator in wellness spas and residential behaviour change programs, where I supported people on their journey toward better health.
Food with Purpose
My teaching is centred on two things. The why, which helps people understand the impact of highly processed, sugar-laden foods. And the how, which focuses on simple and sustainable ways to include wholefoods in daily life. These small changes can lead to powerful shifts in gut and mental health, inflammation, energy levels, and overall wellbeing.
Working with Others for Lasting Change
I’ve had the privilege of working alongside psychologists, naturopaths, integrative doctors, and dietitians, all with a focus on behaviour change. These experiences have shown me just how personal and transformative food can be.
